The First Dream
Boom!
I opened my eyes from the sound of an earth-shattering
sound wave. The first thing I saw was my hands glowing in a neon
greenish color. I sat up and noticed my entire body was glowing
neon green. On top of that, I was wearing different clothes,
specifically gothic apparel. I was wearing a tight black hoodie
and tight black pants with chains wrapped around my belt.
My appearance was not the only thing that changed but
my location as well. Looking around, I saw nothing but bright,
multicolored stars and a night sky like outer space. I found myself
sitting on a long and wide rainbow, a rainbow that extended far as
I can see. It contained mixtures of radiant colors. Every color shot
its light into the sky, alternately forming a timed pattern. As the
color shot its light into the sky, it also produced a strong vibrating
bass tone, which created the earth-shattering sound wave that
woke me up. A different color shot up every few seconds, and
when it did, it produced a different note. Every color had its
assigned note, and together they produced a rhythm.
I reached out my hand to grasp the color’s light. I felt its
warmth and power as it transformed my neon greenish color into
the color I touched. With every additional touch of the same
color, my neon colored aura lit brighter like a fire after it’s been
fed wood. I tried observing where the light shot up to, but it
reached higher than my eyes could see. I then stepped into the
light and quickly found myself ascending into the unknown.
Reaching the light’s peak, I found myself in the presence
of eternal blank white, everything blank other than a beautiful
twelve-stringed emerald and topaz crafted guitar right in front
of me.
There was a note on it that read:
Michael, the misguided
Amy, the rebel
Rebecca, the lost girl
Seth, the realist
L, the being of love, longing, lasting, and everything eternal;
the deliverer of the sinners; the starter of a new life.
Looking up from the note, I was startled to see L standing
in front of me before my eyes holding the emerald guitar. He
was wearing black shoes, green shorts with chains tied around, a
green unzipped jacket, a silver necklace with an emblem of a tree,
and a most peculiar piece of apparel—he was wearing a green
wizard hat.
Within a second of a glance, he plucked his guitar strings,
making the blank world around us evolve into very beautiful
scenery. We found ourselves hovering in the middle of the air
in a beautiful valley full of healthy plains of green, tall, rocky
mountains, heavy waterfalls pouring into clear rivers, and a large
rainbow that colored the sky! Rain began sprinkling from the
rainbow making the rain drops vary in color like snowflakes
varied in shapes. I spread out my hands to feel the drops fill me
with their color and beauty.
L played a complex riff on his twelve-stringed guitar, which
revealed its heavenly tone I remember hearing when he played at
the lake. The riff apparently wasn’t for show as it conjured rows of
beautiful flowers along the valley turning it into a massive garden!
It reminded me of the Genesis story from the Bible talking about
the garden of Eden.
L then extended his hand out to reach mine. Taking his hand,
we quickly found ourselves gliding swiftly through the gardens
like a newly freed eagle. We dashed through the valley until
we stumbled upon a hidden church that was buried in shadow.
Everything a mile from the church was shaded in darkness apart
from the light. L descended us to ground level and approached
the darkness force field, which isolated the church from the light.
With his guitar, he aimed its neck at the force field and shot a
beam of light creating an opening entrance.
Taking my hand again, we approached the opening and
entered through arriving into the boundaries of the corrupted
church. The church was lifeless and dead. The grayish mold that
infected the walls was bringing the building to ruin. At this rate,
the falling of the building seemed inevitable.
L held my hand tightly as he courageously led us into the
front doors, which swarmed with large termites eating at the
wood. Our near presence scattered them away as L reached out
his hand to push open the creaky doors. The room was filled with
darkness, nothing but a spotlight dead ahead. As we pressed on, I
noticed several signs resting on the seats of the church.
The first sign read—the unworthy do not deserve salvation.
The second sign read—you must become worthy to ask
for salvation.
The third sign read—daily repentance is required to remain
clean from all uncleanliness.
Arriving at the spotlight, we noticed a barely transparent
priest hunched over at his knees praying in front of a Jesus statue.
L reached out to touch him when suddenly a loud sound wave
burst into our ears and pushed us off-balance. At that moment,
the priest had become fully transparent and rose up from his
prayer position. Turning to face us, I was surprised to see that it
was Michael!
Raising his hand in the air, he summoned a large bass guitar
shaped like a cross. He then took his palm and slapped it on
the strings, sending a powerful sound wave that was sure to send
us flying!
Counteracting, L played a beautiful sounding chord with
his guitar and summoned a large water barrier that blocked the
sound wave.
Michael quickly changed his strategy by shooting out small
rapid sound bullets from his bass guitar in several random
directions avoiding predictability.
I dove into a row of seats, taking cover while L used the
guitar pick in his right hand to slide on the strings from the base
of the guitar up to the tip of the neck, shooting out fireworks
and colliding into the sound bullets causing several powerful
explosions! Every explosion vibrated the walls greatly, which
eventually resulted into cracks.
At this rate, the building would be no more.
Using plan B, Michael jumped to a higher level and smashed
his palm on the bass guitar as hard as he could, which sent an
overwhelmingly massive sound wave from all directions.
We knew if the sound wave hit the church again, it would
collapse on us; so L improvised by plucking all the strings on his
guitar, which froze time for ten seconds! L made haste with this
time by throwing in an intense guitar solo plucking as many notes
as possible! With every note played, it pixelated two godly sized
hands, a hand created on each side of the sound wave sphere in
order to stop it and smash the sphere back into its creator.
Once the hands were fully created, he plucked all the strings
of the guitar again to resume time, which triggered the hand’s
claptrap function of smashing the sound wave sphere back into
its creator!
Boom!
The loud smash of the hands sent out an intense bright light
that flashed all darkness and corruption out of existence!
Once the summoned hands dissolved, Michael fell from
his graces hard into the ground. I remained behind cover
for a few seconds longer, making sure there weren’t any more
sudden surprises.
When it was secure enough, I stood up and saw L approaching
the fallen Michael. He reached out his hand to grab Michael’s and
helped him up. As he gazed into his eyes with unconditional love,
there was a sudden powerful, earth-shattering voice that strictly
spoke, “You who declare yourself worthier than most, have you
not been put down on your knees by those you declare unworthy?
Let your pride leave you then for all have sinned and fallen short
of my glory!”
At that, there was a light that came over and washed away all
existence of substance leaving everything blank. All senses came
to a halt, and everything became still.
